A Visitor's Guide to Nokt: Special Equipment:Skyships

Skyships are one of the more common means of airborne transit in and around Nokt. Originally pioneered by the residents of Foerl, skyships are expensive to create and require an experienced crew (the smallest of skyships requires at least a Pilot and a Navigator; the larger ones even more personnel) in order to operate properly.

Though they are by no means required to look a certain way, many skyship craftsmen have a quaint notion that they need to look like boats. Indeed, though this is the most common configuration for a skyship, there are other designs in use, from the extravagantly silly (one rich skyship owner had his crafted to resemble his horse-drawn wagon) to the downright absurd (a flying bathtub!).
