A Visitor's Guide to Nokt: Personalities of Nokt: Nemmerelle Karrande

As a brief member of the group that would eventually become known as The Heroes of Nokt, Nemmerelle (Psion 10/Pyrokineticist 5) had some initial fame over twenty years ago – but fame is fickle, and Nemmerelle rode his fame until it deserted him. Now, he is a surly, drunken gnome who can be found in any of the various taverns about town (his current favorite being The Seventh Dragon Inn and Tavern).

Nemmerelle is a Psion of no small power, but he hides a dark secret – his love of fire. He loves to watch things burn, and is, in fact, a Pyrokineticist – and quite powerful, at that. Though Alaric the Twice-Dead has never caught him setting anything alight, Nemm (as some of his friends have called him) is responsible for no less then four major fires in or around Nokt since the end of The Great Illithid War. His love of fire (and the destruction that brings) has prevented him from obtaining or achieving anything of lasting power, despite any desire to the contrary. This makes him a bitter old gnome, and he drowns his sorrows in whatever drink he finds at hand.
