A Visitor's Guide to Nokt: Personalities of Nokt: Madame Probay

Madame Probay (Rogue 8/Assassin 5/Spy 6 – for details of the Spy Prestige Class, see the Lennotia sourcebook) is the owner of Madame Probay’s House of Welcome, and the Head of Assassins in Nokt. A graying, middle-aged woman, she has a stern disposition that works in tandem with a heart of gold, making room for the poor and destitute in her House of Welcome – which doubles as a recruitment center for the Assassin’s Guild in Nokt.

Beneath her benevolent exterior, Probay is a cold, calculating cutthroat. She will not hesitate to dispose of anyone whom she deems to be in her way, though she has learned that she must be very cautious when dealing with some of the more prominent members of town. Nokt is a close-knit community, and casually tossing aside someone of importance would not go unnoticed.
