A Visitor's Guide to Nokt: Personalities of Nokt: Hanoc, former Interim Mayor and Advisor to Azzure

Though only Mayor of Nokt temporarily, Hanoc made a number of important choices for the future of the city in Draven’s absence. It was he who encouraged the group who would become The Heroes of Nokt to find Draven, he who kept an uneasy truce with the bugbear tribes, and he who was suspicious of Cyrus all along.

In the years since Draven’s return, Hanoc has served as an advisor to both Draven and his son, Azzure. Though he is now becoming an old man, he is still spry and able-bodied, and his council is much listened-to by Azzure – especially when it comes to dealing with the bugbear tribes (as Hanoc still has Draven’s ear, even after all of the time Draven has spent in the wilderness with the bugbears). Hanoc’s areas of expertise are in commerce and non-human relations – and he excels at both.
