A Visitor's Guide to Nokt: Personalities of Nokt: Draven

Handsome and charismatic, Draven was the motivating force behind Nokt’s original push for independence from Foerl. Unaccepting as he was of the conditions in Nokt and the demands placed upon the town by their motherland of Nalo, Draven was a major proponent of change in the colony. As he became more and more popular in the then-colony of Nokt, forces back in Nalo decided that he would best be put out of the way, temporarily, until they could do something about him. Changing his shape into that of a bugbear, Foerlian mages wiped his memory clean and left him in the wilderness – where he was found and taken in by a tribe of bugbears.

The Heroes of Nokt eventually rescued Draven, after unraveling the mystery of his disappearance, and Draven’s memory did come back to him just in time to help implicate Cyrus as a traitor – all followed immediately by the outbreak of The Great Illithid War. Draven was up for the challenge, though, and rallied his troops (and the Heroes of Nokt) to great effect.

Since the end of the War, Draven has resigned his position as Mayor of Nokt, preferring instead to return to the bugbears that he grew to love during his temporary exile. Because of his efforts, the relations between Nokt and the Plains Bugbears of Ereland have never been better, and peace has come to the area around Nokt.
