If Manach was the greatest bugbear Chieftan in recent memory, then the individual known only as The Bugbear King must have been a god. Invincible in battle, just in his decisions and wealthy in the extreme, The Bugbear King is more a figure of myth and legend than of fact.

Wielding his Axe of the Bugbear Kings (an artifact of trememndous power), he unified the disparate tribes of the bugbears in Ereland and forged an underground kingdom that he ruled from... until he (and the Halls themselves) disappeared one day.

None know where the Halls are today, and there is even the barest hint of a rumor that says the entrance to the Halls moves from location to location. Whatever the truth, the treasure of the Last King of the Bugbears is entombed within, awaiting discovery...
