A Visitor's Guide to Nokt: MidTown: The Church of the Open Arms

The Church of the Open Arms is a non-denominational church located in Mid Town in Nokt. They welcome anyone of any faith while pushing no specific deity on those who attend their services. Their High Priest is a human named Kestrell, and he leads at least one service a day personally.

The Church preaches a definite doctrine of non-involvement in politics, but they are not callous with their tithes and earnings – Kestrell makes it a point to feed, bathe, and clothe anyone who comes to the Church and is in obvious need. Some claim that this is an insidious plan to bring the poor and destitute of Nokt under Kestrell’s thrall, but there is no real evidence to support this theory – just happy, clean, and clothed people. The Church even goes so far as to openly support Madame Probay’s House of Welcome, a cramped lodging establishment for the poor and needy.

Holding services twice daily (the first at noon, the second at sunset), the Church is always open, and a member of the clergy is always available… for a donation.
